“Dress to look the job you want, not the one you already have”. ~ Anonymous.
The way you are dressed affects how you feel and this in turn has either positive or negative impact of your performance for that day. If you feel smart in your dressing, you will act smart, and always happy with yourself but if you do not feel smart in your dressing, that’s one recipe for poor performance.
My Arch Bishop of blessed memory, Arch. Bishop Benson Idahosa once said,
“Dress the way you want to be addressed”.
Your dressing tell people how they should talk to you. When you are shabbily dressed, you will be addressed same but if you are nicely and properly dressed, a sense of respect is added when talking to you, either in an interview or on the job every day.
What you eat, how you eat and when you eat also affects your look. It’s not a good thing when you have protruding tummy or become over weight, seriously it’s not nice. Look after yourself by eating healthy food and balancing it with exercise.
Everyday simple exercises keeps you in shape and eating lots of fruits keeps you healthy as well. More so, alcohol do more harm than good to your body, if you must take it, employ wisdom. Health they say is wealth, if you aren’t healthy, you can’t pursue your goals. So eat well and look good.
A father once advising his son on how to get his dream job said
“Son, you got to Suit up, show up and keep your eyes open for opportunities” Son replied “But, what if I didn’t find anything dad?” Dad said “Cast your nets again”.
Give your confidence a boost and make yourself look good every time, dress up and walk tall, and you will be happy with yourself and that too is fun.
Happy Sunday to you. Remember to pray for Nigeria.
I honour you.
