Hello, how are you doing? It’s a new week and we are gradually progressing on this series. I must say it’s been really great to hear your feedbacks and comments. Today we will continue with the fourth tip on getting to your goals faster and having fun while at it.
4. GIVE GRATITUDE
“If I have seen anything … it is by standing on the shoulders of giants” ~ Albert Einstein.
The WordWeb dictionary defines gratitude as a feeling of thankfulness and appreciation.
One of the things you must learn to do as you progress in your goals is to appreciate those who have helped you, stayed with you even in the most difficult times, believed in you, encouraged you, gave you opportunities, made you smile, or even prayed for you.
For me, these are my giants, from whose shoulders I can see the world.
Being grateful for even the smallest things is an habit that you should incorporate into your daily life. As little as the word “Thank You” means a lot, and believe me, it’s a magical word.
Gratitude does not only give you happiness, it prepares your way for more growth and opportunities.
Someone once said ”
Appreciation is an application for more”.
When you appreciate people for the little they had given, they will be poised to do more when the need arises but if you have been the ungrateful type, you can be certain to get “rejections and NOs” even when they could have helped and this will not get you close to your goals. Remember the objective is to get to your goals faster, appreciation is one fast lane to do that.
When you begin to feel real heartfelt feelings of gratitude it can change your life because the more things you think of that you are grateful for instead of focusing on what you cannot get, you allow yourself to be satisfied and feel good. This will always bring you joy.
Always remember that the most important person you must never fail to appreciate is your Maker for He gave the breath of life and the privileges that has brought you thus far. He is my rock.
For me personally, I sincerely appreciate you for reading and sharing, for without you, it would be pointless writing.
Wishing you a blessed and productive week.
I value you!
