“I believe negative thinking is like having measles of the mind. Instead of itching, you get bitching; instead of scratching, you get bashing; instead of irritation, you get frustration. Now, do you really want to be close to people like that?” ~ T. Harv Eker.
The mind is the greatest asset that every human is equipped with, it is what makes us superior to every other creature. Everything we see and experience today either good or bad originated from someone’s thought, which is why you need to pay close attention to what runs in your thoughts. Frequently, we let our thoughts run on autopilot, and majority of the time, this leads to negative thinking. Everyman is a product of his thoughts; what you are now and what you will become in years to come would be determined by your thoughts.
This is how our minds work – when you think of an event, you feel an emotion, your mind creates images and you are now imagining the event as being real. The sad truth is we have far more negative thoughts than positive ones and this is where we slow ourselves down. Do not forget that negative/positive thought = results in our lives, for different thinking creates different results.
When you train your mind to think positively, you begin to see possibilities where others see the impossible, you see a pathway where others see an end, you see stepping stones where others see stumbling blocks, and you see reasons to hope when others have given up. It is only with a positive thought that you can experience “Eureka” moments, they never come with negative ones.
The famous American Anthropologist and Author, Margaret Mead once said “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed it’s the only thing that ever has”.
Recognize your thoughts, and when you find that they have not been positive enough, all you need is a small change in your thought process and this will have a powerful effect on your life.
The world is waiting for you!
Have a lovely Tuesday.
I honour you.
